Douglas made her national debut at the 2010 Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup, in Worcester, Massachusetts, placing fourth all-around. At the 2011 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan, she was a member of the U.S. team that won the gold medal in the team finals.
