Terry Gene Bollea earned his wealth as professional wrestler in the World Wrestling Federation (now called World Wrestling Entertainment). In 1979, he was discovered by former World Wrestling Federation owner Vincent J. McMahon. In 1984, he won his first WWF Championship, defeating The Iron Sheik at Madison Square Garden. His wrestling career would continue through the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s. He has appeared in several movies including Rocky III, Suburban Commando, and Mr. Nanny.
