Five Star Fragrances

His biggest endorsement deal is with Nike. Jordan signed a five-year, $2.5 million contract with Nike in 1984. Brand Jordan is now a $1 billion (sales) business for Nike with MJ getting a piece of the profits.

Between 2010 and 2011 Jordan earned $60 million mainly through his endorsement contracts with Gatorade, Nike,  Hanes, 2K Sports, Upper Deck,  and Five Star Fragrances

Billionaire status?

Jordan’s net worth will continue to go up as his endorsement money comes in, but the fastest way he can become a billionaire is through his ownership of the Charlotte Bobcats. He owns 80% of the team. If he can turn the Bobcats into a team that wins and makes money, he may become a billionaire.

Other business ventures

Jordan owns steakhouse restaurants in Chicago, New York, and Connecticut.  He also has a car dealership (Michael Jordan Nissan) in North Carolina.
