Nastia Liukin is a retired Russian-American artistic gymnast. In 2008, she qualified for the Summer Olympics in Beijing, and made it to the final rounds of three events: the uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. After earning three silver medals (balance beam, team, and uneven bars) and a bronze medal (floor exercise) in China, she received one the 2008 Olympics’ all-around gold medal.
