Tobey Maguire began his career in an uncredited role in an episode of The Twilight Zone. His first appearance in a feature film was in The Wizard (1989), a family movie starring Fred Savage.
By the mid 1990s, Maguire had appeared in several television shows including Roseanne, Walker, Texas Ranger, Eerie, Indiana, Jake and the Fatman, and Blossom.
