In 2012, Sapp filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Sapp’s $6.45 million in assets includes 240 pairs of Jordan sneakers worth almost $6,500, a lion skin rug worth $1,200, and a $2,250 watch.
The filings shows Sapp owes more than $6.7 million to creditors and back child support and alimony. He also owes a speech therapist and the IRS.
